2016 Willow Creek Ride Poll

Postby Toneman » January 27th, 2016, 7:01 pm

OK, ladies and germs!!! As was discussed on the "Leads and Sweeps" Facebook page, I've put together a poll regarding the Willow Creek ride this year. If you've never gone, you may want to stay out of the poll. Obviously, you're welcome to vote if you really want to, but I think we'd like to hear from veterans of this ride so that the amenities, food choices, etc. can be properly evaluated.

I'll leave the poll up for a while and we'll see how it goes.

Thanks!!!

I like the quincy ride! Can I truck my bike over there?

I like the two ride choice. Seems like one planned ride per year (at least for me) is way too few!

Do we have a suggested date or dates? I thought I saw maybe June 10-12?

The Willow Creek/Trinity ride always has taken place in June for the most part either just before or after Fathers Day. This year that would make it June, 10th, 11th and 12th.

That date isn't written in stone for the Willow Creek/Trinity Ride, if you want to go somewhere else on this date then thats what will happen. I figured the June ride would be our usual, (Willow Creek/Trinity Ride) and a 2nd and or 3rd ride would be somewhere else like Quincy.

But if ya'll want it another way, do it, make a plan and let the rest of us know the when's and where's of it, (Motel, days, dates, routes and etc.) so people can plan accordingly.

Haven't voted yet but if a ride is completely different, route, lodging town, etc, is that a replacement WCR or another ride all together? If different all together, should be left for another planning thread (IMHO) as we do with the WCR.

If the ride takes place on the weekend of the 10-12th, there will be no need for me to vote :shifty:

If routes change and we're still ending up in the trinity alps area, I'm game for another route (or the same). I'll have to follow as usual as to not get lost.
